Best Student Paper Prize

IEEE IHTC 2024 promotes the participation of young researchers (Ph.D. students, M.Sc. students, young graduates in 2023 and 2024) through the award of “Best Student Paper” prize.

To be eligible for this award, the regular paper submission applies, with these further rules:

• The paper must be authored by student(s) and could be co-authored by advisor(s) – an advisor could be a professor or a post-doc researcher or an industry engineer;
• The competing student must be the presenter;
• The competing student must provide a document by the Faculty/School to certify student status, to be uploaded during the registration as additional documentation;
• During the registration the student should select a box to show the willingness to compete for this prize;
• The application will close on Sept 1 2024.

Once the paper is accepted, it will be evaluated as a “Best student paper” according to originality, scientific content, and quality, writing style, quality of results and presentation. To be eligible for the contest, the paper must be covered by at least one conference registration.

The “Best student paper” will be awarded with a 300 € prize. The top 3 student papers will receive a certification. The recipient(s) will be awarded during the Social Dinner.
